Engaku-ji in Kamakura-shi, Kanagawa Prefecture is one of the five great Rinzai temples of Kamakura (Kencho-ji, Engaku-ji, Jufuku-ji, Jochi-ji, Jomyo-ji).
This temple was founded in 1282.

The garden is recognized as Scenic Beauty garden too.

In addition, the deer are protected as Natural Moment because the deer is the familiar of Kasuga Taisha.
You can see them around Todai-ji and Kofuku-ji in NaraKoen district.
