 大岡川プロムナードは、日出町から弘明寺までの大岡川沿いに設けられています。
このプロムナードには桜が植えられており、桜の名所になっています。

 今回は京急弘明寺駅から京急井土ヶ谷駅までの区間を歩いてみました。

Ookagawa Promenade (Ooka river Promenade) is located between Hinode-machi and Gumyo-ji along Ooka river.
There are Sakura tree lines along this promenade therefore this area is famous Sakura spot.

 This time, I walked from Gumyo-ji station(Keikyu Line) to Idogaya station (Keikyu Line).

鎌倉の大仏で有名な高徳院です。

この大仏様ですが、1252年に制作が始まったと伝えられていますが、作者は分かっていないそうです。
なお大仏様は江戸中期に修復されました。

Kotoku-in in Kamakura is famous for the Great Buddha. 
This Great Buddha is smaller than one at Todai-ji in Nara.
However, it is still a significant statue in Japanese hystory.

Interestignly, the designer of Great Buddha is still unknown though it is said that started constructing in 1252.
In addition, this Great Buddha had the restoration in the middle of Edo period.

ツワブキが綺麗に咲いていました。
Tsuwabuki showed their lovely yellow flowers.

長谷駅側からの成就院への道は、多くのアジサイが植えられとても美しいです。
ふり返ると、由比ヶ浜が見え、アジサイの花と海との組み合わせがまた美しいです。

Along the way to Joju-in from Hase Station are colored by Hydrangea flowers.

It is very beautiful view also when you look back, you can see the Yuigahama.
The combination of Hydrangea flowers and Yuigahama are certainly lovely.

During the Hydrangea season, many many people visit this temple therefore it is very hard to take photos.

その線路沿いにアジサイが植えられており、江ノ電とアジサイを一緒に撮影する場所として非常に人気があります。

Old tree of Kaido (Hall crabapple) is the icon of this temple but many kinds of flowers bloom through the year.

アジサイも綺麗でしたが、花菖蒲も綺麗でした。
Not only Hydrangea but Japanese Iris were beautiful.

Along the hydrangea walks, many hydrangea are planted and their beautiful flowers welcome us.

Even I visited there just after gate opened, there were full of people.

This shrine is one of the mowt popular landmark in Kamakura.
During the new year days, millions of people visit here to pray.

In 1180, Tsurugaoka Hachiman-gu was relocated from Yuiga-hama.
Current Hon-den was built in 1828.
