長い上り坂を歩いたところに建つのが旧ハリヤー邸です。
外壁が魚のうろこのように見えることから、うろこの家と呼ばれ親しまれている洋館です。

After the long and steep slopes, Former Harrier Residence is standing.
This house has fishscale like wall so people call this house "Uroko-no-Ie".
*Uroko means fishscale in Japanese.

ここからは天気がよければ隠岐の島まで見る事ができるそうです。

白く美しい美保関灯台は、フランス人の技師により1898年に建設をされました。

山陰地方最古の石造りの灯台で、世界灯台100選にも選ばれています。
また、灯台としては日本で最初に国の登録有形文化財に認定されてる、非常に貴重な灯台です。

Mihono Seki is located on the east end of Shimane Peninsula.
You can see "Oki no Shima" from here when the weather is fine.

A white beautiful lighthouse is constructed by French engineer in 1898.
This "Miho o Seki Todai" (Mihono Seki lighthouse) is recognized as one of the world 100 featured lighthouse by IALA.
In addition, Mihono Seki Todai is listed as the "Tangible Cultural Property" by Japanese government.
Because, this lighthouse is oldest around Sanin region and has significant historical value.
