東京都日野市にある金剛寺は、高幡不動尊の名前の方が有名かもしれません。
関東三大不動の1つとされているように、由緒あるお寺です。

境内には「あじさいみち」があり、自生のヤマアジサイの他に多くのアジサイが植えられ、東京の有数なアジサイの名所としても知られます。

訪れた時（2014年7月初旬）はピークを過ぎているとのことでしたが、それでも美しい花を楽しむことが出来ました。
今年（2014年）は7月7日まで、あじさいまつりが行われ、10日と11日に「毬切り」と呼ばれる剪定が行われます。

Kongo-ji in Hino-shi, Tokyo is usually called as Takahata Fudo-son.
This temple is said that one of best three Fudo in Kanto region.

In the precincts, there is a path way called "Ajisai michi" (Hydrangea walk).
Along this path, many of Hydrangea were planted and also Hydrangea serrata grow naturally.
This is why Takahata Fudo is famous as the good hydrangea spot in Tokyo.

When I visited (early July 2014), the peak of flower time already passed but still was able to see beautiful flowers.
This year (2014), till 7th July, Hydrangea festival is held.
Then on 10th and 11th Jul, "Mari kiri" (flower pruning) will be held.

百草園は東京の日野市にある庭園です。
歴史のある由緒正しいお寺でしたが、二度廃寺になった後、1887年より百草園として公開がされるようになりました。

傾斜地に作られた日本庭園で、梅、藤、ツツジが特に有名です。
紅葉も楽しめること間違いありません。

坂を上ったところにある展望台からは、都心が一望できます。
またここに吹く風はとても気持ちがよく、ずっとここにいたくなります。

園内には茅葺屋根の美しい建物があり、とても風情があります。

Mogusa-en (Mogusa-en garden) is located in Hino-city, Tokyo.
This beautiful traditional Japanese garden is used to be a historic temple.
Since 1887, Mogusaen is opened to the public as a garden.

This garden is constructed on steep slope site and famous for Prunus mume, Wisteria floribunda and Rhododendron.
In addition, Autumn is another beautiful moment by autumnal tints.

You can see the central of Tokyo from an observation deck on the top of the slope.
Furthermore, you can feel lovely breeze and they give you full of refreshing.

The traditional Japanese architecture in a garden is laid out in elegant style.
