This place is famous for Sakura Preservation Forests which is large area and about 250 species both wild and cultivated species, 1400 Sakura trees are planted.
Therefore, we can enjoy Sakura for a month.

隈研吾氏の設計です。

Its front gate, Takaosanguchi station building (Keio Line) was renovated on 24th Apr 2015.
This new appearance was designed by Kengo Kuma.

羽村堰から5分ほど歩いた先にある、「根がらみ前水田」では桜の咲いた後にチューリップが咲き誇ります。
見渡すかぎりに植えられたチューリップが咲く姿は圧巻です。
羽村堰でのさくら祭りに続き、ここでチューリップ祭りが開催されます。

 Hamura Tulip festival is held at "Negarami-mae Suiden" (Negarami-mae rice field) which is 5 mins walk from Hamura Intake Weir after Sakura festival.
After Sakura time, many many many many tulips bloomed and they color the rice field amazingly.
