山口県岩国市の錦帯橋は、日本三奇矯の1つであり、名勝にも指定されています。

木造の6連アーチという独特の形状を持ち、洪水に強い作りになっています。
現在の橋は昭和25年のキジア台風の被害を受け、昭和28年に再建されたものです。

Kintaikyo (Kintai Bridge) in Iwakuni, Yamaguchi Prefecture is one of the Three Unique Bridges in Japan and also recognized as Scenic Beauty Site by Japanese government.

Kintaikyo has unique appearance which is six wooden archi structure for the flood resistance purpose.
Current bridge was re-built in 1953 after the damages from the big typhoon in 1950.

岩国駅より岩国市営バス「錦帯橋」方面行のバスに乗車（「12」「13」「21」「22」「23」など）。
錦帯橋バス停下車すぐ。

岩国ICより車で約10分。


300 YenGet on "Iwakuni Shiei Bus"(Iwakuni municipal bus service) to "Kintaikyo" (Bus No. 12, 13, 21, 22, 23 etc).
Get off the bus at "Kintaikyo" bus stop then short walk.

10 mins drive from Iwakuni IC.

なお、橋は3年に一度架け替えが行われています。

This bridge is made by creeping plants threfore we need a courage to walk across this bridge.

Kazura-bashi is listed as the Important Tangible Folk-Cultural Property by Japanese government.
In addition, this bridge is re-build once in three year for the safety reason.

パッと見は普通の橋ですが、橋脚を持たないとても珍しい橋です。
国の名勝に指定をされています。

JR中央本線猿橋駅北口より徒歩25分。
歩道が狭いので、歩くときはご注意ください。
駅、猿橋までの道程には地図が無いので、お気をつけ下さい。

Path way is narrow so please pay attention to the passing veichles..
There is no map at Saruhashi station and on the way to Saruhashi....
