 八王子市の西部、高尾にある多摩森林科学園には、広大な桜保存林があります。

日本全国の桜が約250種類（野生種、品種改良種含めて）1400本が植えられ、保存されているため、１か月近く桜を楽しむことが出来ます。

This place is famous for Sakura Preservation Forests which is large area and about 250 species both wild and cultivated species, 1400 Sakura trees are planted.
Therefore, we can enjoy Sakura for a month.

蛇滝口から2号路を通り、4号路を歩いてきました。
通常は浄心門の脇から入っていきます。
4号路は吊り橋があるコースです。
階段が多いコースでもあります。
およそ50分かかります。

I walked three trails at Mount Takao, Jataki trail to 2nd Trail then 4th Trail.
Generally, people walked 4th trail from the side of Joshin-mon.
Mount Takao 4th Trail has a suspension bridge.
Also, this trail has pretty many stairs.
It takes about 50 mins to walk through.

休憩スポットの先で「いろはの森」と4号路の分岐があります。
4号路は看板の右手方向に進みます。

帰りに4号路を使う人も多いです。
帰りは40～50分ほどで浄心門につきます。
下りの階段が多いので、足に負担がかかります。
Pretty many people take 4th Trail to return from the top of the mountain.
It takes 40 - 50 mins to Joshin-mon.

281 高尾山2号路 - Mount Takao 2nd Trail

高尾山の2号路を歩いてきました。
2号路はループしているため、今までに歩く機会が無く初めて一周してきました。
地図と実際の道が少し分かりにくかったです。

I walked the 2nd Trail at Mount Takao.
I did not have any opportunities to walk this trail due to the loop course.
It was pretty difficult to understand the trail because the map is bit hard to understand.

ケーブルカー駅の先にある広場から出発し反時計回りに進み、
ここに戻ってきます。
右奥の看板の脇から2号路に入ります。
The rest area after the cable car station is the start and goal.
This time, walking anti-clockwise direction.

階段を下りると、蛇滝口と2・4号路との分岐になります。
今回は奥の方へ進みます。階段から下りて左手側です。
After the down stairs, it will be the intersection to Ja-taki Trail and 2nd and 4th Trail.

分岐から歩いてくると、1号路に当たります。
浄心門の右手側になります。

階段を下りるとすぐに分岐になります。
右手方向が3号路。左手方向が2号路です。
Just after the stairs, it is the intersection.
Right way is the 3rd Trail and left way is the 2nd Trail.

右方向に下ると琵琶滝へ。
左方向に上って行くと出発地の広場に出ます。

Up to the left hand side is the rest spot where started.

琵琶滝方面は道が悪いようで、上級者向けとのことです。
To Biwa-taki, the path is rough and actual equipment are required, the signage said.
