1955年に国の天然記念物に指定され、保護され続けています。

砂丘には24時間365日いつでも入る事ができますが、照明が無いため夜間は真っ暗になります。
夜間に立ち入る際は、くれぐれもお気をつけ下さい。
また、美しい砂丘を守るために、「落書き」「ゴミのポイ捨て」は条例により厳しく禁じられております。

Tottori Sakyu (Tottori Sand Dunes) is the one of major tourist destination in Tottori Prefecture.
In 1955, this sand dunes are registered as the National Monument by Japanese government.
Since then, Tottori Sakyu is protected by the national and local government.

You can enter Sakyu 24/7 but there are no lightings at there.
Thus, it will be completely dark during the night.
If you enter there at the night time, please pay attention.
Moreover, to protect the beauty of the sand dunes, "graffiti" on the sand and "littering" are highly prohibited by the bylaw.

JR山陰本線鳥取駅北口バスターミナル0番線乗り場「砂丘線」に乗車。
「砂丘会館」下車。

JR山陰本線鳥取駅北口よりバスで約20分。
周遊バスの麒麟獅子（きりんじし）で、鳥取砂丘下車。
*麒麟獅子は土日・祝日・7月20日 - 8月31日のみ運行。

JR山陰本線鳥取駅北口よりタクシーで約20分。

鳥取市街より車で約20分。

Get on "Sakyu-sen"  bus service from bus bay No 0 and get off at "Sakyu Kaikan" stop.

Take bus service from JR Tottori Station north entrance.
Get on "Kirinjishi" Loop bus service from bus bay No 0 and get off at "Tottori Sakyu" stop.

*Kirinjishi bus service operates only Sat and Sun and also public holidays and 20th Jul - 31st Aug. 

20mins by taxi from JR Tottori Station north entrance.

20mins drive from Tottori city.

龍河洞は高知県香美市にある鍾乳洞です。
天然記念物にも指定をされている洞窟で、内部を1キロほど歩く事が出来ます。

また「神の壷」と呼ばれる、貴重な土器も見る事が出来ます。
およそ2000年前に、ここに置き忘れられた壷が洞窟の一部となりつつあります。

Ryuga-do which is a limestone cave is located in Kami-shi, Kochi prefecture.
This cave is listed as Natural monument by Japanese government.
You can walk inside of this cave through the 1km foot path and also can see the beauty of nature.
There is a significant earthenware which is made approximately 2000 years ago.
That earthenware is now a part of this cave.

南国ICより車で約25分。

JR土佐山田駅より土電バス（土佐電気鉄道）で約20分。
本数が少ないので事前にご確認ください。

About 25mins drive from Nangoku IC.

Take Toden bus from JR Tosa Yamada Station and get off at the last stop.(about 20mins)
There are only 5 bus goes to Ryugado a day.
Please check and make sure the bus timetable.
(7:28am, 12:15pm, 14:25pm, 16:25pm, 17:1pm5 - on May 2010)

せり割り岩は不思議な言い伝えを持つ岩です。
大うなぎが岩の間に入り込み、そこから出られなくなったそうです。
その母うなぎのために、子うなぎたちが餌をせっせと運んでいるうちに、母うなぎは更に大きくなりました。
ある日、大きくなった母うなぎの体が岩を割ってしまいました。
それがせり割り岩だそうです。

今でも、この岩の隙間は大うなぎ達の隠れ家となっているそうです。
またこの大うなぎの生息地は、国の天然記念物に指定をされています。

Seriwari-iwa has an interesting legend.
A big mother eel was inside of the rock but could not get out from there.
Then kids eels brought foods to their mother and a mother's body was being bigger inside of the rock.
One day, her grown body broke that rock.
After that, that rock was named as Seriwari Iwa.

Even now, the big eels are love to live in the Seriwari Iwa.
Besides, this area is listed as "Natural Monument" by Japanese Government.

この宍喰の化石蓮痕は非常に広範囲（30m×20m）で見られる非常に貴重なものです。
国の天然記念物にも指定をされております。

阿波市にある土柱はとても不思議な光景です。
日本ではないような気分を味わえます。
自然によって作り上げられた芸術そのものです。
とても貴重なもので、国指定の天然記念物に指定をされております。

Awa-no-Dochu (mud pillar in Awa, Tokushima) is very much unique scenery.
I do not feel this scenery exists in Japan.
This is a fantastic art by the nature.

Those Dochu are very rare thus listed on Natural Monument by Japanese government.

徳島自動車道脇町ICより約15分。
阿波PAより、徒歩で訪れることも出来ます。

Most reasonable access is by a car.
15 mins drive from Wakimachi IC (Tokushima Expressway).
Also, you can walk from Awa PA.

鳴沢氷穴は天然の洞窟です。
天然記念物にも指定をされています。
洞窟の中は寒く、一年中氷が溶けることはありません。
天井の低いところ、足元が凍っているところがあるので、充分に気をつけてください。
近くには富岳風穴もあります。
風穴の方が氷穴よりも大きいようです。

Narusawa Hyoketsu (Hyoketsu means Ice Cave) is the natural cave.
This cave is listed as "Natural Monument" by Japanese Government.
Inside of the cave is very cold and the ice remains whole year.
To walk inside, some parts of the ceiling is very low and floor is sliply.
Please watch your head and foot.

There is another cave near by.
Which name is Fugaku Wind Cave.
This cave is bigger and longer than the Ice Cave.

15mins drive from Kawaguchiko IC.

25 mins by bus from Kawaguchiko Station.
(Take Fujikyu Yamanashi Bus, to 'Shin-Fuji Station' then Stop at the 'Hyoketsu' bus stop.)

or Take Kawaguchiko Shuyu Retro Bus(Saiko, Aokigahara Shuyu) and stop at 'Fugaku Fuketsu'.
