今年（2012年）は例年よりも、開花が3週間近くも遅かったです。
梅だけでなく、福寿草も桜も天気に惑わされていたようです。

Ume (Prunus mume ; Japanese apricot) is another iconic flower in Japan.
In the early Spring, Ume blooms their cute flowers.

Ume is similar to Sakura but the trunk is rougher than its Sakura.
Also, Ume withstands for the pruning therefore, their shapes often keep low height.

This year (2012) has tricky weather.
This may have made Ume blooms 3 weeks late than usual.
Not only Ume, this weather tricked Fukuju-so (Adonis ramosa) and Sakura too.
