西芳寺参拝係に、希望日、人数、代表者の住所氏名を往復はがきに明記し、希望日の一週間前までに届くように申し込む。

Prepare the reply‐paid postcard and write down the things below.

Have to post the postcard to be delivered at least before one week your prefered date.

Saiho-ji will reply with permission to enter and visiting details for instance appointment time.

Entree fee 3000Yen.
You have to join the sutra recitation although it is difficult for Japanese too.

京都駅より「京都バス」73・83号（C6乗り場）に乗車。苔寺バス停で下車。

紅葉でも有名で、テレビの撮影にも良く使われます。

This garden is very famous for "Koyo" (Autumn Leave Colors) and also TV clue often shots here.

Also, Jizo-in is called "Bamboo temple" because the bamboo forest surrounds this temple.

芬陀院は東福寺の塔頭の1つです。
雪舟が作庭をしたといわれる庭があることから、雪舟寺とも呼ばれています。

ただし庭は火災により荒廃をし、1937年に昭和を代表する設計家「重森三玲」により復元されました。
東福寺の方丈庭園も重森三玲作です。

Funda-in is one of Tofuku-ji' Tacchu (=sub temple).
This temple is called "Sesshu-dera".
It is said that Sesshu designed the garden so.

However, its garden was damaged by the fire therefore, Mirei Shigemori restored the garden in 1937.
Mirei Shigemori is one of the greatest garden designer during Showa period.
He designed Tofuku-ji' Hojo garden as well.
