この大社造は、出雲大社に代表される、もっとも古い神社建築様式とされています。
また山陰地方に多く見受けられるのも特徴です。
この美保神社の本殿も雄大で、非常に美しいです。
This is Miho Jinja (Miho Shirine) in Matsue-shi, Shimane Prefecture.
Honden (Main hall) has "Taisha-zukuri" character and it is also listed as "Important Cultural Property" by Japanese government.
Taisha-zukuri is the oldest Shinto shrine style and seen around Sanin area.
Izumo Oyashiro's Honden is the most popular example of this style.
Obviously, this Miho Jinja has dynamic and beautiful features.
