よさこい踊りの特徴は鳴子を持って踊ります。
楽曲のアレンジも認められているため、盆踊りスタイルの正調から様々なアレンジの加わったスタイルまで楽しむことが出来ます。 |

Yosakoi Matsuri (Yosakoi Festival) is the one of the biggest festival in summer in Kochi.
The first Yosakoi Matsuri was held in 1954. |

Dancers hold Naruko (clapper?) and use it for their dance.
Original Yosakoi is "Bon Odori" style.However, since the music arrangemnet was allowed, there are so many new styles appeaerd.
This movements made Yosakoi famous and now many places have Yosakoi festival too.

毎年8月9日から8月12日まで高知市中心部を中心に行われます。
