Yasaka Jinja is located in Gion area, Kyoto and this shrine was said to be started its history in 656.
Yasaka Jinja holds Kyoto's famous summer festival Gion Matsuri in July.

京都駅バスターミナルより、京都市営バス206号に乗車、 祇園バス停下車、すぐ。
祇園四条駅（京阪）より徒歩5分。
河原町駅（阪急）より徒歩10分。
Take Kyoto-shi bus No. 206 from Kyoto Bus terminal(B platform) and get off at "Gion" Bus stop. (about mins)
5 mins walk from Gion Shijo Station (Keihan Line)
10 mins walk from Kawara-machi Station (Hankyu Line)
