The garden in front of Hojo (Hojo-mae Teien) has white rock ground and it shows simple beauty.
The day when I visited, the marriage ceremony was held therefore the surface was prepared for phototaking.

Another garden(Teien) surrounding Kaisan-do has two ponds and rich vegetation.
Those color this garden gorgeous.
Besides, this garden is recognized as Scenic Beauty Garden by Japanese government.

京都駅バスターミナルより、京都市営バス206号に乗車、 東山安井バス停下車、徒歩5分。
9:00 - 17:00 (Gate closes at 17:30)
Entrance fee : 600 Yen
Discount ticket for three places (Kodai-ji, Sho Museium and Entoku-in) : 900 Yen
Take Kyoto-shi bus No. 206 from Kyoto Bus terminal and get off at "Higashiyama Yasui" Bus stop.
