奈良市内中心部にある興福寺は世界遺産に登録されています。

興福寺の名前は710年から登場します。
明治時代の初期にお寺が荒れてしまいましたが、現在は境内の再建が進められています。

中金堂は古式工法を使用し、2018年に完成予定となっております。
同時に境内では発掘調査も行われているため、少し騒がしい雰囲気となっています。

Kofuku-ji (Kofuku-ji temple) is located in the center of Nara City and is recognized as a World Heritage Site.

In history, the name of Kofuku-ji appeared from year 710.
Unfortunately, in the early Meiji era, Kofuku-ji was devastated.
However, Kofuku-ji is now under the reconstruction project.

Chukon-do is one of reconstructing building which is using the traditional construction method will be completed in 2018.
In the same time, the excavation survey is ongoing in the precinct.
Therefore, the atmosphere is bit uncomfortable right now.

近鉄奈良駅より徒歩5分。
JR奈良駅、奈良駅バス乗り場（1番）より、市内循環外回り（2系統）に乗車。
県庁前バス停下車。（約7分、200円）
徒歩2分。

Entrance fee :
600 Yen (Kokuho-kan - National Treasure Museum)
800 Yen (Kokuho-kan and Tokon-do)
5 mins walk from Kintetsu Nara station.
Take Bus route 2 (Shinai Junkan Sotomawari) from "JR Nara-eki" bus station (No 2 bus bay).
Get off the bus at "Kencho mae" bus stop. (About 7 mins, 200 Yen).
Then 2 mins walk.
