依水園は奈良県では数少ない名勝庭園の1つです。

2つの池泉回遊式庭園からなり、前園は江戸時代に、後園は明治時代に作庭されました。
後園からは東大寺の南大門を見ることが出来ます。

Isui-en (Isui-en garden) is one of the few Scenic Beauty Garden in Nara city.
This garden is the combination of two Chisen kaiyu-shiki garden(the stroll garden with ponds).

Front garden was designed in Edo Era and the back garden was designed in Meiji Era.
From the back garden, you can see Nandai-mon at Todai-ji.

Take Bus route 2 (Shinai Junkan Sotomawari) from "JR Nara-eki" bus station (No 2 bus bay).
Get off the bus at "Kencho higashi" bus stop. (About 8 mins, 200 Yen).
Then 2 mins walk.
