That garden is called "Crane - Turtle garden".

無鄰庵（むりんあん）は、山縣有朋の別荘で、美しい池泉回遊式庭園（名勝）を持つ洋館です。

日露戦争前の1903年4月21日に「無鄰庵会議」が、山縣有朋、伊藤博文、桂太郎、小村寿太郎の4名により行われました。

On 21st Apr 1903, "Murin-an meeting" was held by Yamagata Aritomo, Ito Hirobumi, Katsura Taro and Komura Jutaro.

松花堂は元々、岩清水にありましたが、現在の場所に移築されました。
散策がとても楽しい庭園があります。

Shoka-do in Yawata-shi is origin of Shoka-do-bento (a traditional black-laquered bento box).

Shoka-do was in Iwashimizu but brought over from there and reassembled current location.
The garden is very much enjoylable to walk around.

You have to join the sutra recitation although it is difficult for Japanese too.
