長谷駅側からの成就院への道は、多くのアジサイが植えられとても美しいです。
ふり返ると、由比ヶ浜が見え、アジサイの花と海との組み合わせがまた美しいです。

Along the way to Joju-in from Hase Station are colored by Hydrangea flowers.

It is very beautiful view also when you look back, you can see the Yuigahama.
The combination of Hydrangea flowers and Yuigahama are certainly lovely.

Old tree of Kaido (Hall crabapple) is the icon of this temple but many kinds of flowers bloom through the year.

アジサイも綺麗でしたが、花菖蒲も綺麗でした。
Not only Hydrangea but Japanese Iris were beautiful.

Even I visited there just after gate opened, there were full of people.

東京都青梅市にある塩船観音寺は、八百比丘尼が645年～650年頃に開山したと伝えられています。
本堂は室町時代に建てられたものです。

周囲の地形が丘のため、それが船の形に似ているために塩船の名がつけられたそうです。
この丘につつじが植えられており、開花の時期はとても美しいです。
3面を色鮮やかなつつじが咲く光景は、迫力があり圧倒されます。

開花の時期にあわせて、つつじ祭りが行われ、この時期だけ入山料が必要となります。

Shiofune Kannon-ji in Ome, Tokyo, was founded by Yaobikuni around 645-650.
(Yaobikuni was said she ate the mermaid flesh then she lived to be 800 years.)
Hon-do was constructed during Muromachi era.

This location is surrounded by the hills and it forms the ship shape therefore this area is called "Shiofune".
(Fune means ship in Japanese)
Many of azalea were planted on the hills.
After three sides are filled with beautiful colors by azalea in spring, the scenary will be absolutely fantastic.

Tsutsuji Matsuri (Azalea Festival) is held during Azalea blooms.
While that period, need to pat admission fee.

JR河辺駅（河辺駅北口バス停2番乗り場）より、西東京バス（小作駅東口行）乗車。
塩船観音入口下車、徒歩10分。
＊バスの本数が少ないのでお気をつけ下さい。

河辺駅より徒歩約35分。

圏央道青梅ICより車で約10分。

つつじ祭り期間は駐車場代700円。

Get on Nishi Tokyo Bus (to Ozaku eki Higashiguchi) at JR Kabe station, "Kabe eki Kitaguchi" Bus stop and get off at "Shiofune Kannon Iriguchi" Bus stop.
Then 10 mins walk.
*Bus service is limited. Please check the timetable before you go.

35 mins walk from JR Kabe station.

10 mins drive from Oume IC (Ken-o-do)

During Tsutsuji festival, 700 Yen for the car park.

東京都江東区にある亀戸天神社は、亀戸天神の名前でも親しまれています。北野天満宮と同じく菅原道真公をお祀りしているため、受験シーズンは受験生が多く訪れます。

2月に梅まつり、4月に藤まつり、10月に菊まつりが行われます。
特に亀戸天神の藤は江戸時代からの名所です。
残念ながら、今回は藤がほぼ全て散ってしまっていました。

また1月24日25日には「うそ替え神事」が行われます。
「うそ鳥」はこの日にしか手に入らない貴重なお守りとして人気です。

Kameido Tenjin-sha in Koto-ku, Tokyo is also called Kameido Tenjin.
This shrine is dedicated to Sugawarano Michizane.
Which means it is same as Kitano Tenman-gu so that Kameido Tenjinsha is also worshiped as academic achievements.

In Febrary, Ume matsuri (Plum festival) , in April Fuji Matsuri (Wisteria festival) and In October Kiku Matsuri (Chrysanthemum festival) are held.
Especially, wisteria is very famous for this shrine and it has been wisteria spot from Edo period.
Unfortunately, wisteria already dropped their flowers when I visited this time.

つつじが綺麗でした。
Azalea blooms very nicely.

Moreover, "Uso kae shinji" is held on 24th and 25th Jan every year.
(Uso means Eurasian Bullfinch in Japanese and this bird is believed that brings happiness.)
Uso bird amulet is sold only those two days so that it is popular as valuable amulet.

お正月には多くの人が初詣に訪れます。

This shrine is one of the mowt popular landmark in Kamakura.
During the new year days, millions of people visit here to pray.

Current Hon-den was built in 1828.
