妙蓮寺の近くにある妙顕寺も、とても美しい庭園を持っています。
客殿の前庭は「龍華飛翔の庭」（四海唱導の庭）と言われています。

天明の大火により焼失してしまい、現在の庭園は江戸時代に作庭されたものです。

廊下を通り、突如視界に入るモミジの美しさに思わず声が出てしまいました。

Myoken-ji is located near Myoren-ji.
This temple also has beautiful garden.

A front garden of the reception hall was named "Ryuka Hisho-no-Niwa" or "Shikai Shodo-no-Niwa".

The original garden was destroyed in 1788 when the Great Fire of the Tenmei era.
Therefore the current garden was reinstated in Edo period however there are no records about the original garden, unfortunately.

After walking the corridor, beautiful acers will catch your eyes.

京都駅バスターミナルより、京都市営バス9号（B1乗り場）に乗車、堀川寺ノ内バス停下車（約25分）。
徒歩5分。

Entrance fee for the garden : 500 Yen
Take Kyoto-shi bus No. 9 from Kyoto Bus terminal(B1 platform) and get off at "Horikawa Teranouchi" Bus stop. (about 25 mins)
Then 5 mins walk.
