Itsukushima Jinja (Itsukushima Shrine) is located in Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima Prefecture.
This remarkable shrine is recognized as World Heritage Site.
Furthermore, many of architectures are listed as National Treasury and Important Cultural Property.
Itsukushima island itself is also known as Special Scenic Beauty Site and one of the Three Great Views of Japan.

in 593, the original Shaden was buil and this may be the origin of Itsukushima Jinja.

廿日市IC / 大野ICより宮島口フェリー乗り場まで車で約10分。
宮島口よりフェリーで約10分。
広島平和記念公園と宮島を結ぶフェリーもあります。

10 mins drive from Hatsukaichi IC / Ono IC to Miyajimaguchi Ferry terminal.
Then take a ferry to Miyajima.
There is a ferry service from Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park to Miyajima.
