神が住む神殿として建てられたと言われる出雲大社。
日本を代表する貴重な神社の一つです。
「いずもおおやしろ」が正式名称ですが、一般的には「いずもたいしゃ」と呼ばれています。
10月には全国より八百万の神々が集まり、会議を行う神聖な場所です。

出雲大社本殿は国宝ですが、現在は「平成の大遷宮」のため、現在は拝観ができません（2013年5月まで（予））。
仮本殿での参拝が可能です。

Izumo Oyashiro is one of the greatest shrine in Japan.It is said that is built as the palace of gods.
"Izumo Oyashiro" is the official name but many people generally call "Izomo Taisha".
In October, eight million of gods from all part of Japan visit this shrine and will have the discussion.
Therefore, this shrine is iconic and very much holly place.

| 拝殿（仮本殿） / Haiden (Pray hall) - Temporary Honden (Main Hall) Early-Aug '10 |
The main hall (Honden) is recognized as National Treasure however, main building is under the renovation at this moment.
Therefore, no one can enter Honden till May 2013.
On the other hand, Haiden (the pray hall) is now as the temporary main hall.
So, everyone can pray for gods at that building.

一畑電車（いちばたでんしゃ）出雲大社前（いずもたいしゃまえ）駅下車、徒歩約7分。
電鉄出雲市駅から一畑バスで25分。正面前下車徒歩すぐ。
山陰道出雲ICより車で約20分。
無料駐車場有り。
7 mins walk from Izumo Taisha Mae Station (Ichibata Densha Line).
Get on "Ichibata Bus" to "Izumo Taisha" from JR and Ichibata Izumo-shi Station (No1 Bus bay) and
Then get off at "Izumo Taisha" bus stop after 25 mins bus trip.
20mins drive from Izumo IC（Sanin Do - Sanin Expressway）.
Free car parking area is available.
