夏の暑さのなか、男木島で歩き続けたため、女木島を満喫する体力と気力が残っていませんでした。

I visited Megi-jima after Ogi-jima exploring.
However, I walked pretty long time in Ogi-jima therefore my energy was not enough to fully enjoy Megi-jima.
