大きなガラスと鉄を使った、開放感溢れる建物です。

Your eyes will catch an architecture when you got off the ferry at Miyaura Port in Nao-shima.
That is "Umi-no-eki Naoshima"(the station of the sea).

Tadao Ando have worked for Nao-shima more than two decades so you might think this building was designed by him.
In fact, this beautiful architecture was designed by Kazuyo Sejima+Ryue Nishiazawa / SANAA.

高松港からフェリー（四国汽船）で直島の宮浦港まで約50分、高速船で約25分。
高松港から高速船（豊島フェリー）で直島の本村港まで約30分。
宇野港からフェリー（四国汽船）で直島の宮浦港まで約20分、本村港まで約20分。

About 50 mins by ferry (Shikoku Kisen) from Takamatsu port to Miyaura port, about 25 mins by high speed passenger boat.
About 30 mins by high speed passenger boat (Teshima ferry) from Takamatsu port to Honmura port.
About 20 mins by ferry (Shikoku Kisen) from Uno port to Miyaura port, about 20 mins to Honmura port.
