林で群生することが多く、木の下の薄暗さに、この白い花はとても目立ちます。

Shaga (Fringed iris / Iris japonica) belongs to Iridaceae family therefore they bloom the lovely flowers whichare similar shape to Ayame (Siberian iris / Iris sanguinea) but white color.
They have "japonica" name on their botanical name but their origin is China and naturalized in Japan long long time ago.

Very beautiful woodland plant so can be seen under trees and make groups.
This beautiful white flower is really attractive under the shade.
