駒木野庭園は、以前は医院兼個人住宅でした。
母屋は大正期に、二階屋は昭和初期に建てられました。

後ろに見えるの山は高尾山です。
The mountain behind is Mt. Takao.

八王子市に寄贈された後、庭園が整備され、また建物も外観はそのままに休憩施設に改修されました。
高尾山、小仏方面からのお帰りの際に、休憩なさってはいかがでしょうか？

Komagino Teien (Komagino Garden) was used to a personal dwelling with the clinic.
Main building was constructed in Taisho era and two story house was built in early Showa era.

In 2009, both buildings and gardens were donated to Hachioji city.
After that, those were renovated then opened to the public in 2014.
How about taking rest here after you came back from Mt. Takao or Kobotoke area?

高尾駅北口バスターミナルより、小仏行バス（京王バス）に乗車、「病院前」下車すぐ。

Take Keio Bus from Takao Station North Bus turminal to "Kobotoke".

甲州街道の東京都八王子市の区間にイチョウ並木があります。
高尾駅から東に、多摩御陵、西八王子駅を越えた追分町まで約4km続きます。
秋になると葉が黄色くなり、とても美しい光景が続きます。

多摩御陵の完成に伴い植えられたものです。
イチョウが成長をし、年々美しくなっていっています。

There are 4km Ginkgo tree lines alnog Koshu Kaido(Route 20) in Hachioji-shi, Tokyo.
It starts from Takao Station passing Tama Goryo (Musashi Imperial Graveyard) and Nishi Hachioji Station to Oiwake-cho.
Ginkgo leaves turn yellow in autumn and they make the beautiful view.

These Ginkgo trees were planted as Musashi Imperial Graveyard was constructed.
Ginkgo trees have grown every year therefore scenery becomes more beauty year by year.

Every time winds blew, Ginkgo trees dropped their leaves.

鎌倉の大仏で有名な高徳院です。

この大仏様ですが、1252年に制作が始まったと伝えられていますが、作者は分かっていないそうです。
なお大仏様は江戸中期に修復されました。

Kotoku-in in Kamakura is famous for the Great Buddha. 
This Great Buddha is smaller than one at Todai-ji in Nara.
However, it is still a significant statue in Japanese hystory.

Interestignly, the designer of Great Buddha is still unknown though it is said that started constructing in 1252.
In addition, this Great Buddha had the restoration in the middle of Edo period.

ツワブキが綺麗に咲いていました。
Tsuwabuki showed their lovely yellow flowers.

鎌倉駅より東口、1番バス乗り場より江ノ島電鉄バス、または6番バス乗り場より京浜急行バスに乗車、「大仏前」停留場で下車。

7 mins walk from Hase Station (Enoden)

Get on the Enoshima Dentetsu Bus at Kamakura Station East Bus terminal, Platform 1 or Keihin Kyuko Bus at Platform No6.
Then get off at "Daibutsu-mae".
