美波町の赤松地区では、10月の体育の日前日の日曜日に、赤松神社奉納吹筒花火が行われます。

高さ約10mの竿の先の花火から、美しい火の粉が舞い散ります。
竿の根元では、火の粉を浴びながら来年の豊作や家内安全を祈りながら走り回ります。

10個ほどの花火が奉納され、それぞれ違う美しさを持っております。

The special fireworks are dedicated to Akamatsu Shrine on Sunday before the Sports day in Akamatsu, Minami-cho, Tokushima Prefecture.

From 10m above the ground level, fireworks show the beautiful sparks.
Underneath these hot sparks, men are running with praying for a good harvest and the well-being of family.

About 10 fireworks are dedicated and each one has different beauty.

夜20時頃から開始。

公共交通機関が無いので、日和佐駅よりタクシーまたは自家用車。
ただし当日は道が混みます。
また20時以降は、道が封鎖されます。


Fireworks start from 20:00.

There is no public transportation to Akamtsu Shrine.
Please take Taxi from JR Hiwasa station.
Or drive the private car though you will get the trafic jams around the shrine.
In addition, after 20:00, the road will be closed and cars cannot access to the parking area.

うみがめ博物館カレッタでは、海がめを間近で見ることが出来ます。
カレッタの目の前にある大浜海岸には、毎年、海がめが産卵にやって来る、とても綺麗な海岸です。

Hiwasa is very famous for the Sea turtle.
Umigame Hakubutsukan Caretta (Hiwasa Chelonian Museum Caretta) is a sea turtle museum and we can see them very close distance.
Ohama Kaigan which is located in front of the Karetta is absolutely beautiful beach.
Every year, sea turtles come to this beach during the breeding season.

Let me introduce the Sakura in Minami-cho, Tokushima.
Unfortunately, Sakura was not fully bloomed when I visited..
However, once they are bloomed, scenery will be a ceertainly beautiful.

5月から8月にかけて、海がめの産卵が行われます。

Ohama Kaigan (Ohama Beach) is a famous beautiful beach where the sea tutles come to lay eggs.
From May to August, sea turtles land on this beach for laying eggs.
