1989年から始まったこのビッグひな祭りは、人形供養を兼ねており、日本全国から飾られなくなったひな人形を集め、展示しています。

Big Hina-matsuri is held in Katsuura-cho, Tokushima from Feb to Mar.
(Year 2014, between 23rd Mar and 6th Apr)
*Hina-matsuri is held on 3rd Mar and it is a special day and festival for girls.

This festival started in 1989 and it is not a typical tradition in Japan but this festival has a meaning of memorial service for dolls.
Therefore, those dolls which are not displayed in a house are sent from around Japan.
